A little background for why I'm writing this post. As many of you know March Madness is going on. Every year my neighbor holds this contest that anywhere from 30-60 people are involved in. The entry fee is $10.00. To play in this tournament a player selects eight teams. These teams seed numbers must add up to 32 points. You can have more points than 32, but you can't have less than. To pick your teams you normally pick tow teams from each division (west, midwest, south, and east). You pick one team from the top of the bracket and one from the bottom. Below is a bracket for this years tournament. My selections are as follows:
West-Upper: 12 Illinois
Lower: 2 UCLA
Midwest-Upper: 8 Arizona
Lower: 3 Oregon
East-Upper: 8 Marquette
Lower: 11 George Washington
South-Upper: 5 Tennessee
Lower: 11 Stanford
As of today I only have 2 UCLA, 3 Oregon, and 5 Tennessee. Scoring goes as follows:

1 & 2 1.0
3 & 4 1.5
5 & 6 2.0
7 & 8 2.5
9 & 10 3.0
11 & 12 3.5
13 & 14 4.0
15 & 16 4.5
So far I have 9.0 points. If you haven't figured it out yet, but I'm pretty much out of the run for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place.
